Alifiya has more than 15 years of experience working as a physiotherapist.

After graduating from MS University in India, she started her career with a Multidisciplinary Hospital where she worked with a team of Orthopedic surgeons, physicians, General surgeons and Pediatric surgeons.

Later on, she was a clinical instructor for physiotherapy students in Physiotherapy college and then was running her own successful clinical practice before moving to Vancouver in 2014.

Dedicated to continuing education and updating her skills, over the years she has trained in Dry needling, Taping, Soft Tissue Release Techniques, Cupping, Acupressure, Foot Reflexology,Reiki, Traditional Chinese massage, Asian and Swedish massage.

She has also attended various seminars on women’s health, sports injuries and Back pain management. She merges current treatment with any additional therapy in the best interest of her patients. She has a special interest for Geriatric Patients.

In her free time Alifiya would most likely be seen with a book in her hand or trying out different recipes for her loving daughters and husband.
